Yes it does seem strange and, tbh, I doubt Jo's parents have made these comments. I think its yet again a case of the McCanns hijacking a high profile case to get themselves sympathy and publicity. Who can forget Kate McCann turning up at a memorial service for children who had been stabbed to death and getting herself pictured with Jimmy Mizen's parents. It is another example of the McCanns attaching themselves to a high profile case that bore no similarities to Madeleine's disappearance
